Located within a mile and a half of Newby Bridge at the southern tip of Lake Windermere, this spacious accommodation is ideal for a large family or a group of friends with plenty of amenities and features to suit all ages and tastes.

Pinewood Cottage has a large porch area, which is perfect for storing your jackets and boots. As you enter the cottage, you are met with a modern, bright, open-plan kitchen and dining area with a large farmhouse table for you to gather and enjoy a meal after a long, pleasurable day out. The open staircase leads to the first floor where all the bedrooms are located.

Beyond the kitchen is a large living room with dual-aspect windows providing an abundance of natural light. Here, you can curl up on the comfortable sofas, enjoy your favourite programs on the smart TV and plan the next day’s adventure. The wood burning stove takes centre stage, exuding a sense of warmth and charm into the living space, as you unwind with a glass of wine or a cup of tea.

All three bedrooms upstairs are tastefully decorated, each in its own style with a comfortable double bed (one king size) and soft cotton linen — perfect for lazy mornings. The modern bathroom, also on this floor, provides for all your needs, whether you wish to enjoy a long relaxing bath or take a quick, refreshing shower.

Outside, there’s private parking for three cars (one at the rear of the cottage, one in front of the double garage and one inside the garage). There is also ample storage for bikes and other outdoor activity equipment in the garage.
