Getting There

By road:

Leave the A590 at Newby Bridge and head North following the sign for Bobbin Mill Museum. After 1 km, you will pass the Lakeside Hotel and Pier.

Continue North for another 1 km. As Bobbin Mill chimney comes into view you will see Pinewood Cottage on your left hand side.

By ferry:

Arrive at Lakeside pier from Ambleside, Bowness or Fell Foot.

Continue North for another 1 km. As Bobbin Mill chimney comes into view you will see Pinewood Cottage on your left-hand side.

By rail:

Grange-over-Sands railway station is 13 km.

Lakeside Station (Lakeside & Haverthwaite railway) is 1 km from Pinewood Cottage.
